Here’s how the Samsung Galaxy S21 + compares to the iPhone 12 Pro Max
Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy S21 series smartphones in January 2021. Ahead of its official launch, the phone has been spotted in countless leaks and reports, some of which give a more detailed look at specific models in the series. Now a new video compares the upcoming Galaxy S21 + smartphone with its closest rival, namely the iPhone 12 Pro Max.
A video shared by a tipster named Random Stuff 2 on YouTube (via PhoneArena) gives us a more detailed look at the Galaxy S21 + versus the iPhone 12 Pro Max. Video that has since been deleted shows that the Galaxy S21 + will ship with a vertically stacked rear triple camera setup. This camera setup is placed inside a rectangular camera module, which is stacked towards the far left corner at the top. The LED flash is placed on the outside of this camera module. The iPhone 12 Pro Max, on the other hand, comes with a square-shaped camera module in which the triple camera setup is placed in a triangular fashion. The LED flash is also placed inside this camera module.
Another point of difference between the two phones is that while the iPhone 12 Pro Max comes with a flat design, the Galaxy S21 + comes with curved edges.
Coming up front, the Galaxy S21 + comes with a single front camera that is placed inside a punch-hole display in the center. The iPhone 12 Pro Max, on the other hand, comes with an iPhone 12 Pro Max with an iPhone X-like notch.
As for other specs, the Samsung Galaxy S21 + is expected to run on the Exynos 2100 or Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage space. It is likely to come with a 12MP + 12MP + 64MP rear camera setup. The phone is tilted to get a 4800mAh battery.
